I’m originally from right outside Chicago, Illinois where I spent my childhood. When I started attending college at the University of Maryland, I thought I wanted to be an accountant but quickly realized that I couldn’t deny my creative spirit. I was drawn into the design scene through skateboarding culture and graffiti art and have loved design ever since.
Since graduating with my BA in graphic design, I’ve worked my way up in the design industry from my first role as an intern doing graphics for the Naval Academy to my current role as a Senior Product Design Manager at CrowdStrike, while earning my MA in Strategic Communications from Johns Hopkins on the side.
Currently, I live in Burke, VA with my family. On the weekends, when I’m not mountain biking or snowboarding, I enjoy building the latest Lego Friends set with my 6 year old daughter.
